My experience with David Jones and all of the tradesmen associated with Coastal Properties has measured far beyond my expectations. When I first put the job out for quotation, I decided that I would really make sure that I was comparing the same detail in all three quotes. I also knew the importance of choosing a builder that I could work with and I was looking for the company that I felt would also relate well to my architect. My architect has also very much enjoyed working with David and has welcomed his input and experience on the job. David’s assistance at the initial stages of the build in seeking certifier approval of our plans was exceedingly painless. During the build we found the that the sub-contractors engaged by David were wonderfully helpful, flexible, neat and hard working. The site was always impeccably neat - a good sign. David was very helpful in assisting us with our finish options and his advice was generally frank and it turns out, correct! I found David’s quotation to be very complete and differences were settled quickly through a very open and professional dialogue. It was a comfort to have significant confidence in the total build cost throughout, despite a number of minor changes on the run that David and his sub-contractors were able to accommodate. on completion of all works, the house and site were thoroughly cleaned leaving us to simply reoccupy!
